Here are pictures of some of my prize reels that are in my collection. I will pay top dollar for similar reels.

This is an early 1860 - 1880 fly reel made of brass. It is 4 inches in diameter. It is known as the bird cage style reel. It is well made but there are no markings on the reel and could possibly be one-of-a-kind..

The 4 listings below are of several MINT Jack Welch reels that were uncovered at an estate in Austin, Texas. All six reels have never been fished. I am very fortunate to be able to add these to my collection.
This is the showcase of my Jack Welch reel collection. It is a MINT bait caster, circ 1932 - 1936, with a level wind and wood arbor. It comes with the original box and paperwork. It is marked '341' on the inside of the side plate. To find a mint Jack Welch reel with the original box and paperwork is a rarity.
This Jack Welch reel is a MINT bait caster, circ 1932 - 1936, with a level wind and wood arbor. What makes this reel special is that it is a left hand retrieve. This is the only left hand retrieve Jack Welch reel that I have seen.
This is another MINT Jack Welch bait casting reel , circ 1932 - 1936, with a level wind and wood arbor.
Here are 3 matching Tournament reels made by Jack Welch circ 1931 - 1932. They are numbered 71, 77 & 80. All three are in MINT, NEVER USED,  condition. Jack Welch made reels for Talbot and Heddon. He left the Heddon Company in 1929. All three are made of German Silver and very collectable.
Tournament reel made by Jack Welch circ 1931-1932 after he left the Heddon Company where he made reels for Heddon in the 1920's. This smaller reel with a tournament handle and no level wind is RARE since most reels that Jack Welch made have a level wind. The reel is stamped #14 on the inside of the back side plate. Reel is made of German silver. Jack Welch reels are very collectable.
Very nice level wind reel made by Jack Welch circ 1931-1932 after he left the Heddon Company where he made the reels for Heddon in the 1920's.. The reel is stamped #191 on the inside of the back side plate. Reel is made of German silver. Jack Welch reels are very collectable.
Very early circ 1830's "Haywood & Brown" type Clamp Style Stop Latch Trout Reel. Nice large heart shaped clamp screw. This 1 2/3" dia brass reel has a nice patina and operated smoothly. It is held to the rod by means of a clamp attached to the foot bridge. A nice ivory knob fitted at the end of a cresent shaped half handle that is held in place via a sliding latch that rides on the top pillar.
Early circ 1880's Bradford & Anthony marked German Silver boat reel. With a terrific looking reverse "S" handle with a knurled counter balance knob. This 3 3/8" diameter, 2 1/8" wide spool reel has head and tail plate mounted sliding oil ports as well as tail plate inscription reading "G. P. B.". With a rim pull stop and 2/00 marked cast foot that is full length, and hard rubber handle grasp, in excellent polished condition
