This is an early 1860 - 1880 fly reel made of brass. It is 4
inches in diameter. It is known as the bird cage style reel. It is well
made but there are no markings on the reel and could possibly be
one-of-a-kind.. |

The 4 listings below are of several
MINT Jack Welch reels that were uncovered at an estate in Austin, Texas. All
six reels have never been fished. I am very fortunate to be able to add
these to my collection. |

This is the showcase of my Jack Welch
reel collection. It is a MINT bait caster, circ 1932 - 1936, with a level
wind and wood arbor. It comes with the original box and paperwork. It is
marked '341' on the inside of the side plate. To find a mint Jack Welch reel
with the original box and paperwork is a rarity. |
